One of the best parts of working for Naked Australians is the opportunity to meet so many new and interesting people, especially at a time when these individuals are about to embark on an adventure they will probably never forget.
Ted, 24, is one of those genuine guys who oozes sincerity. There is nothing fake about this young man - what you see is what you get. He's the type of typical Aussie guy who would happily put the garbage out for you or try to fix your drain when it was clogged. He'd almost certainly be there in the thick of things if ever an emergency happened.
When Ted contacted us for a shoot he was understandably nervous. But, he confessed, he was a fledgling nudist who felt it was time to start openly living a lifestyle he enjoyed.
The shoot was fun and spontaneous. Ted brought along his hockey uniform and was eager to pose in all his protective clothing - including cup and elbow pads.
Ted told us he had visited some nude beaches in New South Wales over the past year and felt nudism was in his blood. Like so many nudists, however, Ted said he felt some guilt and much embarrassment because of his inclination towards spending so much time without clothes.
Ted's shoot, along with the Naked Australians site, will hopefully go a long way to curing some of these irrational feelings. We told Ted that many nudists fear being seen as a pervert because of their persuasion.
It has to be said, Ted certainly didn't hesitate to strip off. His gallery of photographs reveal he relished the experience. He was the ultimate professional - polite, accommodating and, most importantly, patient with the ever-clumsy photographer, Alex.
We would like to publicly thank Ted for allowing Naked Australians to share an exciting part of his life journey.
