Hi to all the models and viewers. I would like share my thoughts on some of the comments that have been written to the models on this site.

i have noticed on a few of the models comments pages the baltuant sexual remarks that have been sent. things like " i would love to smack that from behind" are just not the things to add as a comment to someone that you dont even know. that sort of comment can be taken as sexual harrasment in the workplace so why add it here.

i am sure that you can write it in a less obvious way. its comment of encouragement that will go a long way to getting more models for the site. i know i dont appreciate remarks like those. yes some models may like it and thats great for them but i am sure a lot dont.  as a model i know what it takes to put yourself out there for all to see. how many of you that are leaving comments would have the courage to put yourself on the net fully nude for all to see. its also not easy to guage a persons character by looking at thier photos but you can get some idea of what they like by the pictures and the comment from the photographer that took them.

so next time you are posting a message to the models please take this in to account before you start typing and give it some thought.  the more models we encourage to the site the beter for everyone. the memebrs will be getting to see more models, the photographers will get to take more photos and the owners of the site will be able to make more improvements and keep the site going. its a win win for all.

i would like to know the thoughts from both the models and the ones viewing them.

Thanks for saying that Micheal.

I was going to ignore the issue, but now you have me riled up, and I just want to add a few things.

A few weeks before I did the shoot, I quit my job as a stripper and lingerie waitress. I'd been doing it for almost a year, and I was getting pretty well-known. I won a title at Miss Nude NSW. It was all so glamourous. WRONG!

Every day, there'd be some (there are far too many words I want to put here, but I won't because they just aren't nice) male saying "smack that" sort of things. Yeah, I was a stripper, taking my clothes off for money and it was to be expected, so I'd usullay let it slide, or laugh it off. All the while wondering how these men go home and treat their wives and girlfriends, if they had them, when they could say those sort of things to me.

This isn't a sob story- poor little stripper, getting called names. It really didn't bother me too much while I was working. In my mind, no matter what they said, they were still the ones handing over a lot of money for half an hour of my time.

The reason I quit, was because I was surrounded by men like that all the time, I began to get a very warped view of men in general. It spilled over into my personal life, and I had a hard time seeing a male as anything other than somebody who wanted to "smack that from the back". Not overly healthy for me, and not fair to the majority of men out there, who really aren't like that.

I did the shoot, mostly for me. I did it because I'm proud to be a woman.

And then I get some fag saying something like that, (and it's only since I read what Micheal said that I'm getting mad about the whole thing) and I'm flung back into the days of old, where it was just part of my day. Then I realised, I DON'T HAVE TO PUT UP WITH IT HERE!!!!

This is not a porn site. None of us are paid for it, and we deserve a bit of respect.

It's lucky it was me that comment was directed at, and not some shy young girl (or boy) taking their clothes off for the first time. Micheal was right when he said that it's a win-win situation for all to just be polite about it.

well lilly you have my support. one of my nudist friends have a go at the stripper industry and they have similar things happen to them. i care about her a lot as a freind and at first i wasnt sure if she could cope but to her credit she handled it well. i never saw her at hare job because she lives to far away. it is a tough industry and from what you ahve said and my friend has said it takes a strong person to do that kind of work.

but here you or any of the other models dont have to put up with it. we are posing for free and we do deserve respect even if we did get paid. if any commetns like that were posted to me or my wife i would not be happy. so once again well done for doing the shoot. its one of the best i have seen on the site. if its ok with you i would love to talk more offline. just contact admin if you want my email address. i will let them know that its ok for you to have it.

keep your spirits up and dont let those negative comments get to you.

Lilly

which title / year did you win ? (Miss Nude NSW)

Lilly Lover November 14, 2007, 6:03 am

Lilly I think you are nice but do you not want people to say you are nice. I know you don't want rude but what is rude? If someone admires your naked body?

Lilly November 14, 2007, 10:42 pm

Nice is great, but that's not what was being said. Of course I love the compliments!

I won Hottest New Talent this year in Miss Nude NSW.

Lilly what did you get as an award / prize ?

Lilly Lover November 15, 2007, 8:39 pm

Ok well I think your naked body is extremely nice and I desire it.

I am confused to be honest if that is offensive because really the post you didnt like is what so many think.

Hey Lilly and MIchael...
i do understand how you feel about the comments made toward you, i myself wouldn't be offended, but i know for some people it can feel degrading and Lilly coming from an industry that you have come from. .men can really make you feel that way... Sometimes in life we people are faced with decisions to make and they may not always be ones that make us the happiest, but at the time they may suit the purpose. I would think though, even being involved in that industry, one should expect rude men it kind of comes with the territory.

Michael.. i adore you, and while i know you don't appreciate the comments made toward you.. there will members of the group who will find you pleasing in a sexual way as well.  Just state, as you have, that you wish that no comments of a sexual nature be made toward you..  Lilly same for you too sweeite.

i think both shoots are fabulous and Lilly.. i do find you a very beautiful lady as i stated in your thread..

cheers

ron

I personally think that guys who talk about a woman as if she's a piece of meat or furniture regardless of what she is wearing or if she is naked should be charged as sex offenders.  Saying things like "I want to smack that from behind" is verbal abuse and harassment and women shouldn't have to put up with that behaviour anymore - even if their job is to entertain guys.

They are such jerks and they don't deserve any respect from women or from broader society at large.

Good on you Lilly for standing up for yourself and taking back your power.  I have written a song about women in your position called "Bodyjammin' " for a band I'm working on called Laissez-Fayre.

You can read the lyrics on either of these sites:  http://groups.myspace.com or http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/laissezfayre
