Hi everyone, I am new to the website and let me say its great. To see so many people enjoying themselves being naked is fantastic. I have secretly loved the feeling of getting around without clothes on, but was married to a woman who thought it was perverted, so it remained a secret.
About 15 months ago we went our seperate ways and when I moved into a place of my own I started to walk around the house naked every now and then and soon I found myself getting my clothes off as soon as i got home each day. During last summer I got the nerve up to go to a clothes optional camping ground as I thought I could combine two things that I really enjoyed, so I contacted a few places and found one near Mittagong in NSW that allowed single males to camp there. I packed my things and headed off for what I thought was going to be a great few days, however, I found that all the people camping there did not like single men being naked, and was made to feel very uncomfortable. I stayed for three days and then went back to only being naked in my house.
I guess my question is, do the majority of people that enjoy being naked frown upon single men being naked? if so, what am I to do. I know the best thing would be to find a partner or friend who also enjoys it, but up to this point I have had no luck and with summer just about here, I would love to be able to go camping again and this time not be made to feel like i am doing something wrong.
If there is anyone that can give me some advice or who is single and likes to go camping, please let me know. I look forward to your assistance.
I am a single male, 45 yrs old, live near Newcastle in NSW, and are willing to travel.

hi david. i know exactly how you feel there. i was a single male nudist for years before i was lucky enough to meet my wife who loves the lifestyle as well. before that i managed to find one retreat that woudl accept me and not judge me for being single.
its not right the way that singles are discriminated against in a movement that prides itself on accpetance but unfortunatley its the minority that do the worng thing that wreck for the ones that just want to live the lifestlye and enjoy social nudity.
my advice would be to get some memberships with the Australian Nudist Federation ANF or the Free Beach Australia FBA as this helps you to get accepted into nudist clubs and resorts. when you do get accepted into a club or resort ask the owners to give you a reference for going to other nudist venues. Swim nights are another place thats great for meeting others and getting some nudist friends together.
ai hope this helps out in some way. i found that the more nudist you meet the better it is.

It is hard and some girls just don't get it. They think it's perverted. |

It seems acceptable for women but a nude male is something still perverted in some way. How sad. Anyway Jason above is some great websites and advice from people who care. xx |

Hi,
Being a single male nudist, I get very cross with nudist establishments that shun them out. I think for the most part it's the married men who enforce this rule because they fear that their wives will be ogled at or solicited by unaccompanied men.
When it comes to the crunch, nudist clubs are privately owned businesses and it's the owner's right to run it as he/she sees fit. Though I drink to the day that nudist establishments everywhere become government owned and operated enterprises and nobody is discriminated against or refused service on account of their marital status.
If anything, it is usually married men who tend to cause trouble at nudist gatherings.

| David, venues refusing you entry are probably breaking the law, especially where they're for profit or registered with the Department of Fair Trading. There are plenty of places offering free legal advice, so you might like to check them out. A threat of legal action against a club or resort will usually see them change their policy. Love Oliver's comment about "perverts". Of course, being perverted is the new "normal". Stuart. |
