Macumba arrived at his shoot with his young, pregnant girlfriend and was clearly nervous about posing for our cameras.

It was an incredibly hot day and the beach location was packed beyond belief - finding a secluded spot to take the photos would be a challenge to say the least.

After a 20-minute walk, Macumba and his Naked Australians photographer began their work, shooting in small caves and behind large rocks to keep out of sight from prying eyes.

Macumba did a brilliant job but even he admits some of his photos give away the fear he felt on the day.

To his credit, this spiritual young man worked under extreme conditions in the heat and with the constant threat of passers by.

Despite all of this, however, we are sure you'll agree Macumba's photos are certainly something he can be proud of.

Nice shoot, if once again there aren't enough pics in the collection - I guess you and the photogapher had enough trouble getting these with the heat and the crowds. You seem to have stood up rasonably well under the pressure though - it's not easy is it?

Too bad your girlfriend didn't join you. Is she still pregnant, or were these taken some time ago?

Hello Macumba,

i absolutely love this photoshoot. I love many of the photos. I think the photorapher did a great job, in spite of the heat.  I love the many piercings you have, especially along your ear. I have a good close girlfriend named Emily who has her ear pierced just like that and to look at her you wouldn't think she would be the type.  She is 5 foot 10 inches tall, true blonde and a rugby player.

I wonder if you had thought about any shots in the water.
