SHEFFIELD LAKE — A Sheffield Lake woman is under investigation for allegedly asking her children to take photos of her in various states of undress, including nude.

The woman has not been charged, but her three children, 12, 11 and 8, temporarily were taken away from her by Lorain County Children Services, according to a search warrant filed in Lorain County Common Pleas Court.

Sheffield Lake police Capt. Tony Campo said the warrant shouldn’t have been unsealed and declined to comment on the investigation, which is ongoing.

“Nobody’s been arrested. Nobody’s been charged,” he said.

According to the warrant, Sheffield Lake police were alerted by a Children Services worker on Jan. 30 about the photos.

The children were allegedly compelled to take the photos of their mother using a camera on a cell phone, according to the warrant.

One of the children also told Children Services that the woman allegedly used a laptop and a computer memory stick to view nude photos of men.

Police seized both a cell phone and a laptop computer during a Jan. 30 search.

Well where do i begin?  I do not think it is proper for a mother of father to have their children take pictures of them whatsoever. There is a difference in taking pictures and living a nudists lifestyle. I  saw my parents naked all the time. It was something not to be ashamed of.  There is alos nothing wrong with kids and parents taking a shower with each other. I did that with my dad when i was young.  Why do i bring these points up?  Well who knows in the future these too may be lookedd on as imoral. However, when you have your children take nude pictures of you it's going a little too far. Here i think, one would probably consider it a form of sexual abuse. Why couldn't the mother have a close friend take the pictures of her?  Why on the other had would it matter if she used a laptop and a comuter stick to view pictures of nude men unless the children had access to those pictures.

i wonder how Child Services found out (ex-boyfriend) or (ex-husband) if police don't find any nude photos of her in the computer or phone i'd like who ever made the false accusation/allegation punishment
