Nudists go on 220-mile charity hike from London to Birmingham

A naturist couple have begun a naked 220-mile walk from London to Birmingham for charity.

Mark Stephenson and Fiona Lincoln embarked on their naked expedition from Greenwich on Sunday. They plan to complete their journey by Friday to attend the Ordnance Survey Outdoor Show in Birmingham.

As they pass Tower Bridge, Houses of Parliament, Windsor Castle and Oxfordshire, the pair hope to raise awareness for the Clothes For A Cause appeal.

The campaign encourages visitors to the Outdoor Show to bring old hiking gear and equipment to be donated to Oxfam and for re-use in foreign aid projects.

Stephenson and Lincoln, who are from Strood in Kent, say they plan to walk the entire distance in only hiking boots, socks and a rucksack.

Stephenson said: “As naturists we are completely comfortable in our own skin and will only cover up in adverse weather conditions, or if we are asked to do so when passing through populated sections of the hike.”

I applaud these two for doing something for a cause.  I would love to do this but everyone here in America are sooooooooooooo narrow minded... well not everyone. I hope they achieve their trek. 

Good on you guys. if i lived in london i would be sure to tag along with you in my hiking boots but unfortunatley i live in australia. this is a great idea and i hope you achieve your goal without any hassles.
