I just wanted to say I admire you for being so out there with this. I have a cousin who was made disabled in an accident and he is now 19 or so. I suspect he is feeling very isolated too because he is unable to talk about sex or his sexual feelings. He might with a counsellor I guess but I am fairly certain he just doesn't with his family. This is very great that you can be so open.
Thank you for the kind words. The isolation felt by myself and some others with a disability definately plays with the head a lot and definately makes each day a bit more harder to deal with but hopefully my shoot will be a way to come out of isolation and show that disabled people are just like everyone else with wants and needs. I'm glad i took this step.

I too think it is very admirable for you to throw caution to the wind and bare your soul.. well and other things...lol. In a world where people with disabilities are looked down upon, you have taken a step and did a wonderful thing and have shown others perhaps, that one doesn't need to feel alone, or ashamed for how they look.. and i am not saying you were ashamed... that is one reason i like this site.. they don't just appeal to the thin, beautiful, perfect model or the hot perfect guy. Perhaps others will soon bare their soul and heart as well. By the way.. i am a hugh collector of music.. i have over 3,300 vinyl records. Music has a way of healing ones heart and soul.

Yes i am one who believes that everyone is beautiul, regardless if it doesn't meet the requirements of some fashion or modelling magazine. We all have something beautiful about us. I think all that's missing from your shoot is a picnic basket... you have the blanket and the guitar.. now just some food and someone special by your side. It's weird, the first few days i was lookd at the pics and was rather numb i guess to the things i would normally find hard to see but as time went on i started seeing little bits and pieces. My upper body is quite built naturally from being in the chair all my life but the lower half is barely there and thats just something i can't help but notice. The shoot itself was really an awesome step forward for me i think and even though i do find looking the the fault on me kinda hard i am still very glad to have done what i did. The positive feedback has been very nice and i'm glad that people have seen it in such a positive way.
I showed this page to a few people and it was interesting that not one person had anything bad to say. One of them said they had always wondered how someone in a wheelchair had sex and they were interested in reading about you. Everyone else was nearly the same and sort of didn't think it was a strange thing to do. I like the fact you dont sound sorry for yourself so even though you have trouble looking at the pictures, I still think that is exactly the same as anyone else who did nude photos. I am looking forward to joining up and seeing everything else. I assume we see you completely naked? do you show everything?
Glad to hear that i'm getting more positive responses from people out there. I'm definately not one to be feeling sorry for myself thats for sure. I have had some rough times during my life but with the rough times you just gotta bounce back and continue on with life i reckon. Once you join you'll see it all. It's been a bit since i have been posting. I have a few things to say. First, i am sure you have a nice butt. Second, you mentioned something about looking at the shoot and it makes you realize your lower body is hardly there at all. You have a great body and true honest people would appreciate your whole self, not just part of you. I know there are some people in the world who wouldn't give a person with a physical difference a second glance at all, but i think you should be proud of what you did and the courage you took. Not that i am saying you should be some poster boy or something to that effect, but you took a chance to let so many people see you and i don't think many do that. In a way you were saying, "this is what i have to offer," and i say thank you. You give us your true self not only in your body and spirit, but your in your thoughts and your heart. I know not everyday is an easy day for you, but you have made a few friends here on the site. Keep your chin up and if you ever get a little down, read the forum ...

Thank you ron. I am rather critical about my appearance at times and always have been, i kinda go from one thought of being pleased to the other side where i am picky about every little detail. Even with my critical views i have of myself i am very glad to have do this and that i can show the world what a person with a disability can do if they have the strength to put themselves out there. The great reactions i've gotten have definately helped in keeping a positive vibe and i'm glad to be apart of it all.
Something slightly random here for those who come into my page, i went to Sydney today and saw a DR cos of a bad kidney that i have and i'll be going in and having surgery in like a month or 2, ARGH!! lol

Glad to see it spelt right with the one T lol. It'll be a pain going through the whole surgey thing no doubt but i'm used to it, i've been in and out of hospitals all my life. The reason for the surgery is i have a bad kidney which has had a bunch of infections of the k=last year or so and this operation will hopefully fix it :)

well the reason i spelled it with two T's in the beginnng is because i am used to it. My actual adopted name is Matt with two T's. I remember telling my parents that my name has to have 2 T's because with just one T, it looked too Naked..... lol. I too am glad you went through with the shoot. I am also disabled but am a bit older than you Mat. I have come to realise the power of touch. Obviously I have my hands when I am intimate with a woman and my mouth. But I am also very open to touch of all kinds. Once I realised that touch was so important, I began to take it where I could find it. Once I lost my fear of being touched, my enjoyment of it grew. It doesn't matter if the person is female, male, old or young I enjoy touch now from everyone and I am so aware of how important it is to not only my enjoyment but also just healing myself.
The 1 T has got me nothin lol, but this shoot has got a lot of positive reactions from it
I know that feeling very well Dave. Touch is a part of a healthy living i think. To actually get it though isn't too easy from my view.

I think your shoot is great, although as some people already know here - I prefer trimmed or shaved rather than bushy.
I plan to listen to your interview soon - was away for a week and offline a lot when the link appeared.
I would like to encourage you to do more shoots as well as appear in the Mass Nude Shoot if possible.

Joined a while ago and you're my favourite Mat. I tend to agree maybe a trimming is needed but it is no big deal. I love your photos very much and you seem so strong in them. In fact, I can see your slight fear but mainly a determination. Yes as someone said your lips are an asset. Shame none of your behind. Maybe it was hard to get into that position as it seemed some of the shots look a bit uncomfortable for you? You have very strong arms and very in shape body wow. First things first, i WILL be doing the mass shoot, the likelyhood of my operation coming before the shoot happens is pretty slim so i'm in :). I have had the trim or shave comment from a few who have seen the pics but i like to be different from everyone else who is trimmed or shaved, just to add to me being as unique as i am lol.
Some stuff i forgot to mention in the last post, my body made some positions kida hard to do. My spine being a bit curved makes laying on my back hard to do and also i can't straighten out my legs fully.

i just went to You Tube and yes it is gone... i wonder if You Tube did that. It seems weird that they would remove the first one and not the other two. I was told by my best friend that You Tube sometimes is weird ... sometimes it will say this video was removed for violations and then if you click on the link agian... it is back. Ask the radio interviewer, or perhaps the staff here at Naked Australians can check it out.

Personally i think that someone saw the first one and got it reported and removed and thats why the first one is gone but not the other 2. It sux too cos the other 2 are there so its an interview with no start to it lol.
Does anyone know of anywhere similar to youtube where we can upload Mat's interview? It would need to be a site that isn't so strict.
We cannot believe Mat's interview was pulled to be honest. We respect it would not be appropriate for children to listen to but it is certainly no worse than those "erectile dysfunction" commercials that play all day on radio and tv in Australia.
When it was uploaded, we searched for a way of designating it as mature content. We notice with some YOUTUBE videos, you need to confirm your birthdate to watch them. But we could not find any option to do this.

I would love to be able to have the interview up and running again, i was totally bummed when it got removed. I can't believe it got removed either. I was wondering about that whole thing of making it so that the viewer has to confirm their birthdate. hopefully there will be a solution so it cn be out there again for the world.

It is odd, considering there are other topics on You Tube that deal with sex as well and yes on the radio stations too. I have tried so many times to get an account on You Tube but everytime i try to put in a user name it says it's taken.. so i gave up...lol. Thanks at least to this link i can view things. I think they do have an age thing on You Tube where you have to fill out your birthdate and such.. but of course people can lie. It could have been an adult complaining, or someone underage. I don't really see all the fuss though unless it was possibly over the photos and even they weren't really revealing at all. Does anyone know what the complaint was about? Evidently it didn't concern parts 2 and 3. Even the radio host stated a disclaimer before he ran the interview.. Some people just like to complain about things. I guess soon censorship will be everywhere.. it seems to be getting that way.

In response to other sites that one can try to download.. i know of some, but i do not know their standards of rules... they are iFilm, Metacafe and DailyMotion. I think it involves cutting and pasting though. I am not sure if you can add new ones to those sites. I havn't tried them.

After all this hoopla about Mats' interview, i got curious and read some guidelines... i can't find where the interview crosses the lines unless, and this is what i am thinking You Tube is thinking, Mats' interview can be considered sexually provocative. However it would have to be for that sole purpose. I am pretty sure that's not what's intended. There are exceptions as well. If the video or content is used for educational, documentary or scientific purposes then it may be accepted, but only if it is the sole purpose and not gratiously graphic. I can say i think Mat's interview falls under education purposes, but i can also see where it falls under the graphic part. So perhaps while You Tube sees it as educational, they may find it too graphic so to speak, in the verbal content even though in the very beginning of the interview, the raido host clearly points out everything.
Reading more on the subject, You Tube doesn't always remove videos but if they deem it too adult like, they will be age restricted. Accounts will be penalised for community guidelines violations and serious violations can cause the person to be banned from You Tube and they won't be able to create new accounts due to the fact that your computer address is in the You Tube system.
To me, it sounds like You Tube is a catch22 and it has double standards. I hope someone here on the forum has some other ideas for Mats' interview to be posted elsewhere without fear of it being removed.
Oh and just to clear up anything.. i am not trying to scare anyone with the information i found out.. i really am trying to inform.....lol.

I didn't know what to say when I saw these a while ago now. I was in a bit of shock. Since you like honesty and you speak about it in the words above, I didn't really want to look. I don't think badly of you but I didn't want to see naked pictures of someone in a wheelchair really. I have looked though and although they don't turn me on I think you are a fit dude. Thanks everyone for the support over this last little while, i just got out of hospital today after 16 days and some pretty rough times and am now in recovery mode for a little while

Thanks. I do have to go back into hospital on the 2nd of july for another operation but this one should be pretty easy and should be back out of hospital within a few days
