Here is a topic talked about so much here on the forum, but i wanted to add some fresh thoughts on this subject from some new readers.

A family of a California high school student had the  cheerleading coach that their daughter was cheering under,  fired after it was found out that she posed nude on a Playboy website. The teenager was expelled from the team because of three unexcused absences and even though the   teen was let go from the squad, the parents insist it wasnt  done for revenge, but more from a moral standpoint.    It was stated that the young teenage girl found out that her ex cheerleading coach was cyber girl of the week on the playboy website and it rang out morals to her... GIVE ME A BREAK.. SERIOUSLY?  She gets expelled from the team and then she finds out?  Does this not ring as revenge?    Does this not ring out as a lie?  Yes as my next paragraph will state just that.

I know that a person with a job that has high scrunity is suppose to uphold a moral view of things, expecially if they are a teacher, coach, what have you... but it isn't like the coach was telling the students she was the cyber girl of the week. She wasn't abusing the girls. It was stated by the coach that when she applied for the job as the cheerleading coach the school did backround checks on her and even googled her, but the sites were blocked so no one underage could have access.   So of course she knew the risk before she took the job.We all know however, that those sites can be gotten around somehow, especially by a teenager in high school.  The young girl let go from the squad knew about rumours of the cheerleading coach posing, but said nothing of it until she was let go from the team.

What a person does in their own time should not affect their professional position unless it is something directly harmful to a minor or any individual. Is she a pedophile preying on the young girls or boys?  It hasn't mentioned that, but i  bet if given a week or two.. some young girl or boy will come up with something to ruin that young coaches life. She is a well liked  teacher by many students, even the faculty.. yet suddenly she's not fit to teach the students?  The world lives in double standards. Is she a mass murderer?  Unless something extremely severe is uncovered in the investigation.. i think it is wrong for her to lose her job.

suspension for a number of weeks or months instead is better than banning her
