Okay everyone, as promised here are a few of the commercials i remember and i am sure you may pick up on the sexual meaning, even though i am sure the producers didn't have anything in else in mind when they ran them..... or did they? Keep in mind also that these are American commercials.
1. The first commercial is aimed at selling cake frosting from Betty Crocker. There is a very handsome guy in the commercial, and no one else, but the backround singers singing the jingle.
While there are a few scenes showing someone spreading the chocolate icing over the cake and a guy licking his lips very eroticly, the jingle in the backround is playing.... SPREAD AND READY WHENEVER YOU WANT IT... so think about that in a sexual way and picturing a very hot guy licking his lips..
2. This on deals with the product jello gelatin.. nothing erotic about this commercial, unless you have had sex in a tub full of jello and i know a few people who have, but the jingle at the time was WATCH IT WIGGLE SEE IT JIGGLE... again... let your dirty minds wander...
3. This one is my favourite one. It is a commercial selling Juicy Fruit Gum... the scene is of a bunch of young adults romping and having a great time outside while chewing gum. The jingle of this one was... Pull it out, take a sniff, the taste is gonna move you when you pop it in your mouth.. juicy fruit the taste, the taste, the taste is gonna move ya. this jingle conincided with a male youth taking a pack of juicy fruit gum out of his pocket and the camera showing him sniff it and then a young teenage girl and him poping a piece into their mouths...
These were all ran during the 1980's... ahhhh glorious youth... and no i am only going to be 44 but wow how the time has gone. Me being a teenager with rampant hormones at the time, found everything sexual that i could about them.
So tell me fellow forum posters have i gone off the deepend? lol |
