BLOOMINGTON INDIANA USA
In an online article published by Chicagotribune.com, on May 6th, a state lawmaker says he plans to sponsor a bill next session that would ban adult males from applying spray-on tans to juvenile females at tanning salons.
State Rep. Bruce Borders, says he was shocked by a recent case where an adult man working at a local tanning salon, applied spray-on tan onto a nude 15 year old girl. He stated that he felt it was important not only for customers, but businesses as well, not to be put in any more compromising situations like this again.
The mother of the 15 year old girl was absolutely furious when she found out that a grown adult man applied the tan spray to her underage daughter. The 15 year old had forged a note from her mother, receiving permission to be nude, as is the salons practice. However, there is no law stating that it is illegal for this to occur. Others have heard about this case and have come in support of the bill to be passed into law.
My question is, "why would the owner of the salon allow this grown man to apply the spray to the minor, especially to one of the opposite sex?" |
