actually to me soooo much in todays society is impressed upon the way someone looks.. if we aren't such a great beautiful person, with every hair in place and each tooth perfectly straight. .we might as well hang it up..  Now i am not perfect. in my life i have looked on people judging on how they look, but then i remember.. there is ALWAYS something beautiful about every individual.. it could be their smile,  their eyes, their laugh..  it can even be how they eat a piece of fruit, or how they care about a person...everyone of us has something beautiful about us..

Now as for the elephant man... i dont know.. being that i didnt personally know him, and if i did i would be damn good looking for my age...lol,   but maybe the way he did live on and persevere with his deformity.. in a way is beautiful because here was an individual who was delivered a double whammy, or mayber more.. and still lived on.. perhaps he thought of ending his life.. but something caused him to go on living.
